INTRE Privacy Notice – Mailing List and Events
INTRE is based in Ireland and is subject to the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Irish Data Protection Acts.
This notice explains how we use your personal data when you complete our INTRE mailing list and events form.

The data controller is INTRE (Ireland).

We collect the information you provide in the form, which may include:
- Name
- Email address
- Institution/organisation and country
- Your areas of interest
- Whether you wish to act as an INTRE Champion
- Why do we use your data and on what legal basis?
We use your data to:
- Send you information about INTRE events, activities and opportunities
- Maintain a contact database for the INTRE network and potential Champions
Our legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us at info@intre.ie. If you withdraw consent, we will remove you from our database.
- Who can access your data?
Your data will be accessed only by those involved in coordinating INTRE activities.
Where relevant, limited information (e.g. name, institution) may be shared with trusted partners such as ECSB or ISBE only for the purposes described above and never for unrelated marketing.
We do not sell your data to third parties.
- Where is your data stored and for how long?
Your data will be stored securely within the EU/EEA (or with equivalent protections in place where data is transferred).
We will keep your data for as long as you remain an active member of the INTRE contact list or until you withdraw consent, after which it will be deleted from our mailing database. - Your rights

- Request correction or deletion of your data
- Restrict or object to certain types of processing
- Withdraw your consent at any time
